Alice in Chains with Pearl Jam – Alone (Acoustic)

Also attributed to Creed and Tool, which is even stranger.

This is another case of an unknown artist suffering from a random track being attributed to a popular band. It makes you wonder who originally uploaded this and why they mislabeled the track. Anyway, there are definitely two voices in this track, but neither of them sound like either Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) or Maynard Keenan (Tool). I can understand why they’d be confused for Eddie Veder’s (Pearl Jam) or Scott Stapp’s (Creed) vocals… so why was it never mislabeled as “Pearl Jam and Creed”?’

Beautiful track.

It’s actually: Circus of Power – Heaven & Hell

This one’s understandable.  Circus of Power is largely an unknown band, and this track (from their 1993 album, Magic & Madness) actually features Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell.  Their ties to Alice in Chains don’t stop there– they even toured with them, as you’ll learn in the video below (embedding disabled).
